Having a Schedule is Important for Kids, Princes and Princesses Having a schedule is important for kids. Like Poor Mother Hubbard, I have a lot of children. In fact, I have five children, and three still live at home. I have to be consistent, to keep our schedules going for everyone to participate in the family dynamic. This makes for less contention.
