Surviving Distance Learning! Many children who do well naturally in school do NOT thrive under the current Distance Learning conditions! Moreover, not only are they isolated from their friends, but they are expected to pay attention for hours via internet. Add to this a child with learning disabilities, or who struggles with academics, and it can be a perfect storm for disaster! February 24, 1980 Dear Journal, If I had a Fairy Godmother, I would ask her for three wishes. I would wish that all the world was clean of trash, filth, bad thoughts and actions. I would wish for enough money to be happy, not spoiled. I would wish for Ben D. to love me and ask me to be his girlfriend.
